Retail decision architecture

Unify pricing, promotion, assortment, inventory and customer-treatment decisions across channels.

Customer and merchandise decisions

The decision environment

Retail decisions connect local demand, inventory, margin, supplier commitments, customer context and channel behaviour. Fragmented logic creates conflicting prices, poorly placed stock and interventions that arrive after the buying moment.

A decision layer gives commercial owners one controlled place to define objectives and constraints while stores, digital channels and fulfilment systems consume consistent decisions.

Illustrative reference case

Allocating scarce inventory across stores and digital channels

Demand for an item rises while available inventory is limited and replenishment is uncertain. The retailer must decide where units should go without allowing each channel to optimise only its own local target.

The decision combines demand forecasts, store and channel position, margin, fulfilment cost, customer commitments and allocation policy. The outcome is a governed allocation plan that can be monitored and revised as evidence changes.

This is an architecture example, not a named customer case study or a claim of achieved results.
